About DEFTECH Aviation
DEFTECH Aviation is primarily known as the first national composites light aircraft manufacturer back in 1990 through the production of the Eagle 150B operating from Malacca, Malaysia. As a proud composites technology specialist with design and manufacturing competency, we have ventured into composites manufacturing of ground radar dome, Wigetworks Airfish 8 pre-production, diplomatic lockers for Airbus A320 and composites fixtures manufacturing.
DEFTECH Aviation began as the advanced aviation composites maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) hub supporting Eagle 150B operations. Today, we have expanded our expertise into commercial and military based MRO to support narrow-body aircraft and helicopters. We are accredited by local and international authorities specialising in composites and metal repair such as nose radome, cargo panel, flap, aileron and fuselage for aircraft such as Airbus A320, Boeing B737, CN235, and BAE Hawk.

Ground Radome
PERISAI Ground Radome is made of low dielectrics composites panels based on fiberglass laminates and plastic foam core. The composites construction is the most suitable construction due to its physical properties of being light weight but with inherent strength comparable to metals. Another important criterion is the non-conductive composites that ensure radar signal loss is kept at minimum.
The ground radome designed by us is a quasi-random geometry which when truncated would form a spherical construction. The equatorial radiuses of ground radome is identical at 9.0 meter while the overall height can be set to be higher or lower depending on the type of base wall and the height of the radars.
